Romantic Impressions

A Russian Evening
Join us for the rarely heard Quartet for violin, viola and 2 cellos by Arensky, Glazunov’s Five Novelettes for string quartet, Andante Cantabile for solo cello and string quartet by Tchaikovsy, and a beautiful selection of Russian music for soprano and harp. An Afternoon Serenade
This program features tenor Anthony McGlaun in a performance of Benjamin Britten’s Serenade for tenor, French horn and string quartet. You’ll also enjoy a septet for piano, trumpet and string quintet by Danish composer Hilda Sehested, as well as a short piece for violin and piano by Cécile Chaminade.
